Course Overview
This community-led training based on the official MS-203 courseware provides messaging administrators with the knowledge and skills to configure, manage, and troubleshoot a Microsoft 365 messaging environment. Participants will learn how to manage recipients, mail flow, message security, compliance, and client access.

Target Audience
This course is intended for messaging administrators responsible for managing messaging infrastructure, recipients, mail flow, and security in Microsoft 365.

Prerequisites
Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 services, PowerShell, and general networking concepts.

Course Modules

• Module 1: Introduction to Exchange Online

Learn the fundamentals of Exchange Online and how it integrates with Microsoft 365. Gain familiarity with the Exchange admin center and PowerShell management tools.

• Module 2: Managing Recipient Objects in Exchange Online

Understand the different recipient types and learn how to create, manage, and configure mailboxes, groups, and resources in Exchange Online.

• Module 3: Managing Administrative Access in Exchange Online

Learn how to implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in Exchange Online and manage admin roles and scopes securely and effectively.

• Module 4: Managing Authentication and Security with Microsoft Entra ID

Explore authentication methods, including modern authentication and multifactor authentication, and configure secure access using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).

• Module 5: Managing Mail Flow in Exchange Online

Configure accepted domains, connectors, and mail flow rules. Learn to monitor and troubleshoot mail delivery issues in your Exchange environment.

• Module 6: Managing Messaging Security in Exchange Online

Implement anti-malware and anti-spam policies, protect against phishing attacks, and configure email encryption using Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

• Module 7: Implementing Messaging Compliance in Exchange Online

Understand how to use retention policies, archive mailboxes, and compliance solutions such as auditing, content search, and litigation hold.

• Module 8: Configuring Client Access in Exchange Online

Configure client access settings for Outlook on the web and mobile devices. Learn how to troubleshoot client connectivity issues and optimize user access.
